I compose haiku
inspired by my duties
in office kitchens.
Part of my job as an office manager at a non-profit in Washington, DC is to tidy the kitchens at the end of the day. Certainly someone at your office does this, too, and I've been that lucky soul for nearly two years. It never ceases to amaze me how there are so few people in the world who know how to load a dishwasher properly, or how to rinse food down into the garbage disposal. This blog is my attempt to create a place to (anonymously) vent the daily frustrations resultant from the perpetual mess I'm left to clean every day. Please feel free to share your own anecdotes, pictures, etc., etc., etc. Keep an eye out for the (quasi) daily haiku.
